The mantra of the “Friends of the Seasons” is simply based on common sense.
We believe that we should eat “honest to goodness” food - pure and simple. We look for chefs who respect the seasons, the only determinant of the produce in our opinion.
We also ask them to respect the traditions and the produce of their region.
“Culinaire saisonnier” – The Seasonal Gastronomer” has therefore created “Friends of the Seasons” in Flanders and the Netherlands specifically to find and group together this type of chef. With over 70 members our association is now one of the most important chefs’ clubs in existence.

Today the “ Seasonal Gastronomer” club exists in France, Brussels and the French speaking parts of Belgium.
The club is above all a mixed gathering of like minded friends whose members are both great chefs and young, up and coming talent.
They are all creators of the highest quality cuisine using the freshest of produce highlighting their own region.
