Mireille Saurat : a hymn to womanhood

A painter and sculptor, Mireille Saurat works in Normandy.

For the last ten years or so, she has dedicated herself entirely to painting nudes. Painting in oil, and only from live models, she offers an intimate vision of womanhood.

The modeling of her nudes, combined with a remarkable sensuality and great modesty, makes her work a homage to both the body and soul of women.

Saurat is currently illustrating in watercolour the travel notes of writer Patrick Marie Catherine. This publication will appear in French and Greek next spring.
