First class hot-air balloon flights for two people, accompanied only
by the pilot.
- Total duration: approximately 3 hours.
- Duration of the flight itself: approximately 1 hour
- Distance covered in balloon: approximately 15km
Average altitude: between 150 - 450m (enabling
you to observe the region's flora and fauna, x, manors, stud farms and
other attractions...)
Please note that people suffering from vertigo should not attempt the flight.
Champagne is offered to passengers on landing.
A hot-air balloon flight certificate will be
awarded to each passenger, certifying that you have taken a hot-air balloon
flight from Château
les Bruyères.
Throughout the flight you will be followed on the ground by a four-wheel
drive vehicle, which is in permanent radio contact with pilot. This same
vehicle will take you back to the Château after the flight.
General conditions:
The hot-air balloon service is independent of the hotel service.
The flight is provided and insured by the hot-air balloon company, which
will invoice you directly.
Flights always take place at daybreak or 2 hours before sunset (these
are the times of the day when the wind is at its calmest). Flights take
place when there is little wind, no stormy conditions, and atmospheric
pressure higher than 1020 mb.
The pilots will only fly if the conditions are favourable.
If a morning flight is cancelled due to the weather, the crew will remain
available in case an evening flight is possible.
If a flight has to be cancelled on the spot
by the pilot due to unforeseen weather conditions, you will not be invoiced
for the flight, but you will be required to pay for your stay at the
Château ( € 678 for
food and board for 2 people). |
